Mitch Tiras (Locke Lord LLP, Partner and Chair, Corporate and Partnership Tax Section) - Mitch Tiras’ practice includes the organization, structuring and capitalization of limited liability companies, partnerships and corporations for public and private entities, from both a transactional and tax perspective. He also has extensive experience in the structuring of master limited partnerships, “drop-downs,” debt and security offerings and analysis of qualifying income issues. He works with clients on the acquisition and sales of equity interests and assets to maximize the tax and related benefits for such transactions.
Steve Jones (Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co., Managing Director, Investment Banking) - Steve Jones serves as Managing Director of Investment Banking with Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Most recently, Jones served as a Vice President with Lehman Brothers in the Global Natural Resources group where he was instrumental in numerous merger, acquisition and financing transactions across the oilfield services, midstream and upstream sub-sectors. Prior to that, he was a Director of Corporate Development at El Paso Corporation. Earlier in his career, Jones was a Senior Associate with GulfStar Group, Inc., a boutique merchant bank in Houston.
Bill Swanstrom (Locke Lord LLP, Partner and Co-Chair, Energy Practice Group) - Bill Swanstrom has over 25 years of experience working with energy companies in their significant acquisition, divestiture, project development and finance activities. He also has substantial experience in energy private equity transactions, representing both investors and companies.
