    Program Overview

    Locke Lord will provide a concise and timely preview of the 83rd Texas Legislature Regular ‎Session, which convenes January 8 and adjourns May 27. This program will focus on issues ‎essential to understanding or participating in the legislative process, including:‎

    • Composition of the 83rd Legislature and refresher on parliamentary procedure
    • Fiscal issues, including the budget, school finance and Medicaid ‎
    • Major state issues, including water, education and transportation
    • What does this mean for my company or my client?‎
