A Locke Lord Texas team led by David Wilhelm, Rachel Fitzgerald and Eric Larson (all of Houston) represented ARB Midstream (ARB), a privately held energy company based in Denver, Colorado, that provides crude oil and gas liquids midstream and marketing/logistics solutions in North America, in a merger to create a premier growth-oriented Denver-Julesburg (DJ) midstream company. Platte River Holdings (Platte River), a subsidiary of ARB, combined with Elevation Midstream, LLC (Elevation), an energy midstream gathering and processing company based in Denver, to form a midstream system of significant scale in the DJ Basin. Platte River’s assets include more than 200 miles of crude gathering and transmission pipelines and offer multi-market optionality to customers via the Platteville and Lucerne Terminals, including truck offloading. The combination of Elevation and Platte River creates a platform for organic growth and basin consolidation through targeted M&A via an expansive footprint, world-class facilities and a strong balance sheet. For more information, see the press release. Additional support was provided by Buddy Sanders, Mike Rose, Jerry Higdon, Deanna Markowitz Willson, Tammi Niven, Laura L. Ferguson, Jeff McPhaul, Michelle Gutierrez-Begin, Case Towslee, Ashley Lopez, Jeremy Petersen, Lani Blake, Andrew Nelson, Marshall Moorhouse (all of Houston), Mark Backofen and Van Jolas (both of Dallas).
