Locke Lord London Team Advises Saitec Offshore Technologies on Strategic Partnership With Kansai Electric Power Corporation

A Locke Lord team led by Kevin Atkins and Matthew Daffurn (both of London) advised Saitec Offshore Technologies on a strategic partnership with Japanese utility Kansai Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) in relation to the DemoSATH floating wind project — the full-scale prototype deployment of SATH Technology at BiMEP, the open-sea test site in the Basque Country. KEPCO is the second world-class utility to join the project, following RWE Offshore Wind in 2020. The collaboration between the three companies is intended to drive innovation, accelerate the commercialization of the SATH floating wind solution and contribute to the transition towards a more sustainable energy future.
