Integration as a Way of Life
Locke Lord's culture embraces lateral hires immediately, providing for them the same training opportunities and high-level marketing services offered to Locke Lord's approximately 800 lawyers. We assist with Transitional Business Plans, coordinate integration meetings, and help identify cross-selling initiatives. Our Marketing and Business Development team helps with competitive intelligence research, custom pitch materials and RFP responses, media opportunities, client articles and announcements, and more. Our proactive Practice Development Committee – comprised of Partners from around the Firm with strong support from Firm management – promotes a host of initiatives designed to increase cross-selling and lawyer interaction across our various practices and offices. Finally, we work with our Practice Group leaders to draw on the experience of other specialty areas and increase our laterals' value to clients.
