Patrick "Packey" Conlon is an Associate in Locke Lord's Litigation Department and a member of the Firm's Class Actions practice group. Packey regularly represents clients in the litigation of consumer, complex commercial, and class action matters in jurisdictions across the country. He has a broad scope of appellate and trial court experience, including oral arguments on pleadings motions, discovery, summary judgment practice, arbitration, and pre and post-trial practice.
A substantial portion of Packey’s practice is dedicated to defending financial institutions, including residential mortgage lenders and servicers, in individual and class action lawsuits concerning claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), and state consumer fraud and deceptive business practices statutes such as the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), Wisconsin Consumer Act (WCA), and Illinois Consumer Fraud Act (ICFA).
