Krystle Tadesse has a litigation and counseling practice and represents clients in a broad range of complex disputes in state and federal courts as well as in matters involving the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and their state equivalents.

Krystle Tadesse has a litigation and counseling practice and represents clients in a broad range of complex disputes in state and federal courts as well as in matters involving the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and their state equivalents.

Krystle has extensive experience litigating and resolving disputes at all stages, including trials, depositions, mediation and arbitration, motion practice, pretrial motions and appellate practice. Krystle represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of disputes related to consumer-protection statutes, breach of contract, fraud and misrepresentation in real estate transactions, and mortgage lending and servicing practices.

Krystle advises clients on compliance with the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976 ahead of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures. She has developed a focus on health care merger reviews conducted by both the FTC and state Attorneys General, including combinations of hospitals and physician groups. 

Krystle represents numerous international clients in diverse industries against civil claims under CERCLA and state equivalent cleanup statutes, whether direct claims brought by the government or contribution claims by private third parties arising from allegations concerning historical waste disposal practices. She defends clients in administrative proceedings and enforcement actions involving state government, EPA and OSHA, relating to a variety of issues, including permit compliance and responses to releases of contaminants. Krystle also counsels clients on permit application issues, state specific energy siting compliance and Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission (PUC) rules and regulations.

Krystle is also involved in the ongoing representation of several top national lending and servicing institutions in defense of various types of mortgage foreclosure and other consumer finance lawsuits, including putative class actions, brought by borrowers in state and federal trial and appeals courts in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
