Chris has experience with secured loans, corporate loans, asset based loans and loan portfolio transactions, as well as leasing, financing, development, construction, management, acquisition and disposition of office, affordable housing developments, hospitality, restaurant, retail, medical, multifamily, energy, mixed-use and residential subdivision properties.

Chris has experience with secured loans, corporate loans, asset based loans and loan portfolio transactions, as well as leasing, financing, development, construction, management, acquisition and disposition of office, affordable housing developments, hospitality, restaurant, retail, medical, multifamily, energy, mixed-use and residential subdivision properties.

He has represented major financial institutions, specialty lenders and borrowers in numerous lending transactions, loan workouts, loan modifications, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financing, acquisition financing, mezzanine debt, letters of credit, remedy enforcement and foreclosures involving a wide variety of collateral, including Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) collateral.

Chris' representative experience includes:

  • Represent loan servicer in connection with remedy enforcement under multiple loans, and foreclosures involving multiple office, retail, restaurant, medical and multifamily properties as well as UCC collateral
  • Represent affordable housing investment group in connection with acquisition and financing of newly constructed affordable housing developments
  • Represent lender in connection with $100 million international letter of credit facility for high-tech manufacturing company
  • Represent retail borrower in connection with forbearance and restructuring of $18 million credit facility
  • Represent equity investor in connection with DIP financing of hospital property
  • Represent owner of mixed-use condominium tower in connection with restructuring the condominium regime and sale of the multi-unit residential component
  • Represent developer in connection with the development, financing and eventual sale of a $72 million Class-A multifamily project
  • Represent developer in connection with the development, financing and sale of $45 million Class-A townhome project
  • Represent pension fund in connection with the purchase and financing of a $90 million office park
  • Represent major hospitality brand in connection with project developments and hotel management agreements
  • Represent developer in connection with several multistage development and infrastructure loans for the creation of residential subdivisions
