Noted Corporate Energy Attorney Robert Eickenroht Joins Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell as Houston Partner

(HOUSTON) August 18, 2011 – Longtime corporate and securities attorney Robert Eickenroht has joined the Houston Office of Locke Lord as a Partner in its growing Corporate Energy Practice Group. Eickenroht has practiced law for more than 25 years and has a broad-based corporate securities practice focused on general corporate and partnership law, merger and acquisition transactions, joint ventures, equities and energy.
Eickenroht, who formerly was a partner with Haynes & Boone, has vast experience in mergers, asset and stock purchases and dispositions, private placements and venture capital and private equity financings. He also has extensive experience in structuring and forming partnerships, joint ventures and strategic alliances. His energy experience includes offshore drilling projects, gas storage, transmission, distribution and marketing activities and derivatives, power generation, transmission, distribution and marketing activities and derivatives, the processing, marketing and storage of natural gas liquids and the development, purchase and sale of water-related assets. His connections and experience throughout the energy industry will add to Locke Lord’s Corporate Energy platform, and Eickenroht brings even more strength to a group that has been growing for the last two years.

Eickenroht earned his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center, graduating cum laude. He earned his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Texas.
