January 12, 2011 – Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell Chair Jerry Clements has been re-elected to head the national law Firm and she will lead its nine-member Executive Committee for a second three-year term. Firm Co Vice-Chair Tom Jenkins of the Chicago office was re-elected to that position, along with Bill Swanstrom of the Houston office, who was re-elected to the Executive Committee and who will serve for the first time as its Co Vice-Chair.

Four new Partners were elected to the new slate of leaders: Janis Loegering, Dallas; Michael Renetzky, Chicago; David Taylor, Houston; and Tom Yoxall, Dallas. The four join re-elected Executive Committee Members Nick DiGiovanni and Dan Schlessinger, both of the Chicago office, in leading the 634-lawyer Firm. The newly elected Executive Committee is the slate submitted by the Firm’s Board of Directors.

“This group of Firm leaders represents the perfect blend of experience and strategic vision and will work tirelessly to meet the economic and business challenges of 2011 and beyond,” Clements said. “My eight colleagues and I are committed to our clients, to our employees and to continuing the entrepreneurial spirit this Firm enjoys.”

The four new Executive Committee Members bring years of experience to the leadership team. Loegering leads Locke Lord’s Finance, Banking and Real Estate Department. Her practice involves real estate acquisition, development and finance, commercial finance, health care facility finance and acquisition and hospitality development and acquisition.
