Locke Lord Attorneys and Practice Areas Recognized for Excellence in Chambers USA 2011 Rankings

June 15, 2011 – Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell gained even more recognition for its attorneys and strong practice areas this year in the newly released Chambers USA 2011 Client’s Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business. The Firm's practice areas are recognized in 15 categories, including three nationwide rankings (Capital Markets: REITs; Energy: Oil & Gas – Transactional; and Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Insurer) and 12 state rankings. Also, 37 individual attorneys are listed in the 2011 Guide, including five attorneys who earned nationwide rankings. New York Partner Steven Schwartz (Insurance: Dispute Resolution: Reinsurance – Nationwide) again received a Band 1 nationwide ranking. Los Angeles Of Counsel Jonathan Bank (Insurance: Reinsurance – California) and Austin Of Counsel Mike A. Hatchell (Appellate Law – Texas) earned Band 1 state rankings. Three Locke Lord attorneys were added to the 2011 list over last year’s, and an additional practice area – California Healthcare – joined the list of honorees. The Chambers USA 2011 rankings follow Locke Lord’s Chambers Global recognition for its REIT practice and for three attorneys: Bryan L. Goolsby (Capital Markets: REITs); John F. Sweeney (Intellectual Property: Patent); and Zunxuan “Digger” Chen (Intellectual Property – Regional Experts).
