Jennie Simmons is Co-Chair of Locke Lord’s Corporate Practice Group. She focuses her practice on the representation of clients in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, divestitures, corporate restructurings, corporate governance and general corporate matters. Jennie has represented clients in a wide range of transaction valuations, ranging from $5 million to $2 billion.

  • Yokogawa Electric Corporation in its acquisition of Fluence Analytics, a U.S.-based startup that provides real-time analytics solutions to polymer and biopharmaceutical companies worldwide
  • Medallion Midstream Services, a Permian Basin-focused midstream service provider, in the sale of its natural gas gathering processing business in West Texas to Cardinal Midstream Partners
  • Gyrodata Incorporated, a global company specializing in gyroscopic wellbore positioning and survey technology, in its execution of a definitive agreement to be acquired by SLB, a global technology company
  • ArcLight Capital Partners’ sale of Pride Convenience Holdings, LLC, which operates 31 convenience stores in highly desirable locations, to ARKO, one of the largest operators of convenience stores and wholesalers of fuel in the United States, at a purchase price of approximately $230 million
  • Summit Midstream Partners, a publicly traded partnership focused on developing, owning and operating midstream energy infrastructure assets, into definitive agreements with Outrigger Energy II LLC to acquire Outrigger DJ Midstream LLC and with Sterling Investment Holdings LLC to acquire Sterling Energy Investments LLC
  • Refuel Operating Company, LLC, in its acquisition of the assets of The Whalen Corp., a Raleigh, North Carolina-based convenience store chain with three stores in the Raleigh-Durham market
  • Summit Midstream Partners in the sale of Bison Midstream to Steel Reef Infrastructure Corporation for cash consideration of $40 million
  • Riverbend Energy Group, a multi-faceted investment firm, in its equity investment in Harnyss, LLC, the market leader in solid-state hydrogen storage technologies
  • Embark Energy, a wholesale and retail fuel distribution and c-store chain, in its sale of 11 Fast Break Convenience stores and four company-owned, dealer-operated locations to Refuel Operating Company, LLC
  • Summit Midstream Partners in the sale of its Lane Gathering and Processing System in the Delaware Basin to a subsidiary of Matador Resources Company for a cash sale price of $75 million
  • WildFire Energy in its acquisition of approximately 45,000 net acres and 200 operated wells in the East Texas Eagle Ford from MD America Energy, LLC
  • ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC, in its acquisition of the Pride retail chain of stores
  • Refuel Operating Company, LLC, in its acquisition of the assets of Albemarle Oil Company

  • A private company in the approximately $45 million sale of its agricultural business
  • A publicly traded corporation in the $46 million purchase of certain assets of a business involved in manufacturing and marketing pelletizer and pulverizer machinery and the related acquisition of the seller’s German, Chinese and Taiwanese subsidiaries
