Locke Lord Represents GN Hearing in Acquisition of Audigy Group

Locke Lord represented GN Hearing, one of the world's largest manufacturers of hearing aids, in its acquisition of Audigy Group, a provider of business and performance management solutions to independent hearing care, otolaryngology, otology and neurotology practices and leading University programs in North America. The acquisition closed in the third quarter of 2016, with the total purchase consideration consisting of an up-front payment of US $91 million and earn-out payments of up to US $60 million, which depend upon Audigy Group´s financial success after the closing. Locke Lord lawyers Sean Fifield and Thomas Bohac (both of Chicago) and Joseph Farside (Providence) worked on the transaction.
