Edwards Wildman Admits Two to Partnership

Edwards Wildman is pleased to announce the admission of two lawyers to partnership. As of January 1, 2015, Christopher Capelli and Brenda McDonough became partners of the firm. These attorneys deserve recognition for exemplifying legal excellence and a commitment to exceptional client service.

New Partners

Christopher J. Capelli is an Intellectual Property partner in the firm's Stamford office. Capelli advises clients in all aspects of patent prosecution and IP transactional activities and strategic intellectual property counseling. He has extensive experience as a corporate executive managing large global IP organizations and IP portfolios. These experiences extend to a wide range of industries including computer hardware and software, telecommunications, electromechanical devices, medical instrumentation, internet applications and consumer marketing.

Brenda M. McDonough is a Public Finance partner in the firm's Boston office. McDonough serves as counsel to numerous municipalities in New England in connection with the financing of infrastructure and other capital projects for governmental purposes. She has assisted cities and towns in all phases of the borrowing process, including the drafting of proceedings, advising on permissible financing structures and federal tax matters, and the preparation of disclosure materials and closing documents.
