
Lauren Fincher is a business litigator with broad experience in commercial, consumer finance and government disputes. She has represented companies and individuals in state and federal court on various commercial matters involving breach of contract, fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference with contract, copyright and trademark infringement, and deceptive trade practices claims. Ms. Fincher defends financial institutions in consumer lawsuits, including mortgage lending and services practices, credit reporting practices, and fair debt collection matters. She also defends businesses in all manner of disputes with state government, including Attorney General, Department of Insurance and other state agency investigations and enforcement actions, administrative hearings and appeals, open records and Public Information Act matters, licensing and regulatory compliance disputes, and other government-initiated litigation. Lauren is a former Judicial Clerk for The Honorable Nathan L. Hecht of the Texas Supreme Court.
