Karen Weldin Stewart, the Delaware Insurance Commissioner, will speak at the office of Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell starting at noon on December 16, 2009.
Commissioner Stewart will speak about Delaware as a domicile state for insurers with a focus on captive insurance. This topic should be of interest to both insurance and non-insurance clients and contacts. As you may know, many large non- insurance-related corporations have set up or may be interested in setting up captive insurance companies to serve their insurance needs.
Lunch will be provided. One hour of CLE credit will be available for any Illinois attorneys who attend.
