Mr. Wasserman, a partner in our New York office, has practiced commercial law in New York since 1985, and has acquired broad experience in hundreds of cases before federal and state courts and before arbitration panels throughout the United States. His practice concentrates on complex litigation and arbitration with a primary focus on all phases of contract, partnership, employment, banking, intellectual property, construction and securities disputes. He represents international and domestic clients in many industries, including information technologies, banking, energy, real estate, insurance, film and television media, financial services, health care, advertising, marketing, and construction.
Mr. Wasserman has represented Fortune 100 companies in complex bankruptcy matters, antitrust cases, securities and commodities class-action litigation and arbitration.
Mr. Wasserman has extensive experience representing companies, officers, directors and special committees in conducting internal investigations related to corporate malfeasance, market manipulation, regulatory compliance, whistleblower allegations and related party transactions.
Mr. Wasserman also has a wealth of experience defending clients in actions which focus upon emergency equitable remedies such as injunctions.
