Casey Howard is a partner in Locke Lord’s New York office. Named a 2011 and 2012 Rising Star in Super Lawyers, Casey has experience in bankruptcy, complex commercial litigation and provides advice to start-up and midsized tech companies on all aspects of their business.
Casey’s bankruptcy practice focuses on creditor representation of major financial institutions before the Bankruptcy Courts of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
As a commercial litigator, Casey has participated in a number of jury trials before the New York state and federal courts in disputes concerning real estate transactions, non-compete/employment contracts, telecommunication projects, reinsurance agreements, maritime disputes, workers compensation insurance and mortgage fraud.
Casey also works with a number of small and midsized tech companies, particularly those involved in mobile-focused technology. Casey advises these companies in the areas of corporate structure, employment contracts, general intellectual property matters, litigation issues and fund raising.
