- Defended national pizza chain in false advertising litigation against its largest competitor.
- Prosecuted false advertising claims against syringe manufacturer’s largest competitor.
- Prosecuted fighter pilot’s false advertising and misappropriation of image claims against motion picture studio and cable television company.
- Advised producers and investors in negotiations pertaining to independent film production and financing.
- Prepared writer’s agreement and option agreements for motion picture and ancillary rights to printed works.
- Prosecuted patent infringement actions on behalf of syringe manufacturer and inventor including two of the fifteen top verdicts in the Eastern District of Texas in 2009.
- Represented trade mark, trade dress, and copyright owners in enforcement actions.
- Prosecuted contract, fraud, and libel claims in dispute over a joint venture agreement for oil and gas exploration in Texas.
- Conducted discovery in the United Kingdom leading to settlement, admissions of validity and patent infringement, damages and cessation of competing sales of an infringing product.
- Represented singer’s personal services company and its president in breach of fiduciary claims against personal managers.
- Represented boxer in personal injury litigation for tiger bite and recovery of kidnapped pet tigers.
- Defended largest horticultural nursery in Arkansas against class action, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) collective action, and declaratory judgment action on insurance policies.
- Defended reinsurers against coverage claims for intentional acts of the insured.
- Represented manufacturer of steel plate connectors in Colorado and Texas litigation involving software license, development, sales and escrow agreement.
