
Steve Sapp represents clients in both public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, corporate and securities reporting and compliance matters, Board of Directors representation, and mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, he represents many of his public and private corporate clients, both nationally and internationally, in technology and software protection, licensing and transfer matters, as well as the management of substantial intellectual property portfolios, related administrative proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and disputes concerning trademark rights, domain names, privacy and copyrights on the Internet.
Due to the breadth of his experience and aptitude for client service, he also has a broad general business practice that includes serving as general outside counsel for several public and private companies. Mr. Sapp has an "AV® Preeminent" Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

- Reporting obligations under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and Exchange and NASDAQ compliance.
- Trademark and service mark selection, clearance and registration for clients in industries including the real estate development, automotive, health products, and investment industries.
- Negotiation and preparation of a variety of technology contracts, including software development, joint ventures, software consulting and licensing agreements of all types.
- Prosecution and maintenance of over 2,000 trademarks and service marks in the United States and abroad.
- Numerous actions under the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy, and the management of substantial intellectual property litigation and prosecution dockets
