Stan Pieringer is a partner in the Firm's Houston office where he focuses his practice exclusively on commercial lending and aviation transactions. He has more than 15 years’ experience in buying, selling, and financing corporate aircraft of all sizes; aircraft leasing as both lessor and lessee; aircraft ownership structures, and other aspects of corporate aviation. Mr. Pieringer also has more than 20 years’ experience in representing sources and seekers of capital in complex multiparty financial transactions, including syndicated bank credit agreements.

- Represented purchasers and sellers of top-of-the-line corporate aircraft in transactions with manufacturers, in sales and purchases of used aircraft, in leases of aircraft, and in buying helicopters
- Represented one of America’s largest corporations for 10 years in leasing its fleet of aircraft
- Represented large corporate and bank lessors in leasing transactions
- Represented buyers and sellers in scores of aircraft transactions ranging from the largest corporate jets (G-650, Global 5000) down to King Airs, British Spitfires and Champions, including obtaining Federal clearance to bring a fighter aircraft into the U.S. two weeks after September 11, 2001
- Represented large Mexican industrial company in several transactions involving buying, selling, trading, exporting and importing Falcon 50s and 2000s
- Represented purchaser of G-V from collapsing provider of medical services
- Represented owner of Challenger aircraft in extricating its aircraft from a lease with a collapsing lessor, identifying a replacement lessor and re-leasing the aircraft from that second lessor
- Represented lender in foreclosing on Boeing 727
- Represented buyer of Luxembourg-registered Premier aircraft in buying and importing the aircraft, which had been damaged in a crash
- Represented lessee in synthetic lease of three large corporate jets from unit of world’s largest aircraft manufacturer
- Represented U.S. owner of Canadian corporation leasing Hawker 800 (cross-border registration issues)
- Represented buyers in negotiating sales contracts with Bombardier, Dassault, Raytheon and Gulfstream
- Represented lessee in synthetic lease of three large corporate jets from Boeing
- Represented dozens of corporate and individual buyers of fractional interests in programs managed by NetJets, FlexJet, CitationShares and Flight Options
