
Vijay D’Cruz focuses on commercial litigation, energy litigation, and construction law. He has represented clients in injunction proceedings, arbitrations, administrative hearings, bench trials, and jury trials throughout the state and country. Mr. D’Cruz has represented major energy companies in a broad range of disputes involving royalty, ownership, development, production, operator litigation. He has substantial experience representing owners, developers, engineers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors in a variety of disputes involving energy, industrial, schools, commercial, public infrastructure, sports facilities, highway construction and residential construction. He has handled every aspect of construction litigation from mechanic’s liens; performance and payment bonds; differing site conditions; breach of contract; construction defect claims; general contractors and subcontractors; delay and acceleration claims; and termination of contracts. Mr. D’Cruz is often retained before disputes arise to draft and review construction contract documents, negotiate and memorialize change orders, and resolve project conflicts.

- Representation of multiple homeowners pursuing claims against both contractors and warranty companies to remedy construction defects.
