
Delilah Banks is an associate in the Firm’s Houston office. Her broad-based practice includes representing clients on matters involving contract disputes, tort liability, premises liability and various alleged statutory violations. She has advocated for her clients on both the plaintiff and defense side. Ms. Banks has experience in every stage of the litigation process, including performing initial fact gathering and risk analysis; drafting and responding to pleadings, motions and discovery requests; working with expert witnesses; presenting testimony and oral arguments; negotiating settlements; preparing for trial; selecting a jury; and advocating at trial.
As part of her commitment to the community, Ms. Banks donates her time to pro bono matters in the Houston community, volunteering with the Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program which serves to provide legal representation to individuals who could not otherwise afford it.

- Represents a Fortune 100 computer technology company in various consumer litigation, including allegations of breach of warranty, breach of contract, fraud, and product defect.
- Served as in-house counsel primarily responsible for supervising the defense of various Fortune 500 company mortgage servicers, lenders, and investors in lawsuits involving allegations of breach of contract, fraud, wrongful foreclosure, and various statutory violations.
- Defended individuals against a declaratory judgment involving an alleged easement.
- Represented a major Fortune 500 oil and gas equipment and services company in litigation involving allegations of breach of contract brought by a job placement agency.
- Represented an international hotel in a premises liability lawsuit, including threshold assertions of personal jurisdictional objections in federal court.
- Assisted in representing a major oil and gas company in a two week jury trial involving natural gas pricing and a price reopener provision.
