Jay Safer is mentioned in the March 2012 issue of the The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel in the Thomas Reuters Column entitled “40 Distinguished CLE Lecturers and Acclaimed Thomas Reuters Treatise” The Column lists Mr. Safer as one of the leading litigators who will speak along with eight Judges, five in-house counsel, and the other selected attorneys at a presentation in May 2012. The event is entitled “Advice from the Experts: Successful Strategies for Winning Commercial Cases in New York State Courts” and will be held at the New York County Lawyers’ Association. Mr. Safer, a New York State Appellate Judge, and three other attorneys will present the subject of Expert Testimony . Attendees will receive a copy of the critically reviewed Treatise Commercial Litigation in New York State Courts. Locke Lord's Kevin Walsh’s Chapter on Insurance in the Treatise also has received special acclaim. Mr. Safer is the author of the Chapter on Contracts in the Treatise.
