Our business attorneys serve clients in businesses across the corporate landscape, with a particular focus on energy, cable television, financial services and real estate.  Our Energy Group represents clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and represents industry leaders (including the largest pipeline infrastructure projects in North America) taking the lead on critical rate, tariff and certificate matters.  Our Financial Services Group represents clients before OCC, FDIC, OTS and FRB. Attorneys in the group include former investment bankers, financial executives, accountants and senior regulators with the Federal banking agencies.

The attorneys in our Washington, D.C. Real Estate practice have taken part in a broad variety of real estate, finance and corporate transactions across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico involving multi-property portfolios, construction, bridge and permanent loans, mezzanine financing, syndications, capital and secondary market transactions, real estate fund formation, joint ventures and REMICs.  As part of our 120-person national real estate practice, our attorneys represent a diversified client base including insurance companies, investment banking firms, institutional lenders and banks, servicers, developers, equity investors, trustees and securitized transactions, foreign investors and many others involved in commercial real estate transactions.
