Having opened in 2011, Locke Lord is strongly committed to strategic expansion of its Hong Kong office in areas of law such as Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions, Finance, Banking and Bankruptcy/Restructuring. In 2013, we established an on the ground team in Hong Kong to expand our service to our clients in Asia.

With their connections throughout Asia and Europe, the Banking & Finance team’s representative experience includes acting for financial institutions on infrastructure-related finance projects, asset-based financing, equipment leasing and structured note programs. They have handled matters involving commercial property-based structured lending in China and capital markets issues in India, giving them an international footprint that continues to grow.
The firm has a strong Corporate Finance team capable of handling a wide range of foreign direct investments, mergers and acquisitions, IPOs and secondary offerings, corporate takeovers and restructurings, private equity and venture capital investments.
