His activities span litigation, arbitration, and mediation, and include False Claims Act qui tam royalty claims, crude oil and natural gas contract disputes, price re-determinations, energy taxation, lease and title disputes, and surface damages claims.
Ben Cowan (Houston, Partner): Ben’s environmental practice is focused heavily on the energy sector, with extensive experience in energy project development and mergers and acquisition of midstream and E&P companies. He regularly counsels energy companies engaged in hydraulic fracturing on environmental compliance, risk management, and strategic planning.
