Partner Cynthia Bast will participate in a workshop at the National Forum for Black Public Administrators: Outlook 2009 event on October 10, 2009. Ms. Bast's workshop is titled "Fostering Decent Affordable Housing." This workshop will showcase Austin’s best practices, particularly private/public partnership models and mechanisms that have transformed affordable housing policies along with cutting-edge solutions that produce the SMARTest, greenest, most progressive design in the country. This session will highlight national and local economic trends.
