
Don Glendenning, Co-Chair of the Firm's Corporate and Transactional Department and Managing Partner of the Firm's Dallas office, has extensive experience in a broad range of corporate and securities matters and transactions. He is experienced in private equity and venture capital transactions, senior and subordinated debt financings, asset and stock acquisitions, going-private transactions and divestitures, spin-offs, and corporate mergers, one of the most recent of which has been representation of Southern Union Company in its $10.3 billion acquisition by Energy Transfer in early 2012. He represents public and private companies in public offerings and private placements, advises issuers and investors concerning corporate governance, securities law disclosure and filing requirements, and also is active in a number of civic and charitable organizations. Mr. Glendenning is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and in Chambers, which refers to him as “brilliant and one of the most client-service oriented lawyers out there.” He was also the recipient of the 2011 Justinian Award, from the Dallas Bar Association, which recognizes an attorney who has "actively demonstrated a long-standing dedication to volunteer service in the Dallas community."
